Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

What is the correct position of the feet in sujud?

I have read that it is sunnah to keep them together but I have also heard shaykh ibn Baz rahimahullah say that they should be kept apart like the knees and rest of the legs. There seems to be a difference in opinion and I would like to know what the position is in the Hanbali madhhab.

Wa’alaikumussalam warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. The feet are kept slightly apart in sujud like the knees according to the madhhab, as mentioned in Al-Iqna’ and other books.
