AssalaamAlaikum. Just wanted a bit more clarification on the permisibility of masah on regular socks. I’ve always heard that there was consensus among the 4 madhab that masah cannot be done on any and all socks.

Will you be able to provide references of Hambali scholars that allows masah on regular socks. Are there any restrictions on what type of regular socks such as thickness etc.?
