As-Salaam u Alaikum. I work part-time on campus in the US as an international student. However, this does not suffice to pay for my monthly expenses and I don’t want to depend too much on my father back home as he already pays my expensive tuition.

I also tutor 2 kids online every week and this helps me make extra money. However, it is not legal for me to work anywhere other than the campus as an international student. Is this okay Islamically? How big of a sin could this be? JazakaAllah!
