The company my father works for subsidizes its employees by giving them low-rent houses. Employees are not allowed to lend out this house to others for money. And doing so could jeopardize their allotment in a way that they could be expelled from the house.
My father was also given a house which I used to live in until 2 months ago, when our neighbor’s wife left to live in their village, we rented a room from the man, and pay the rent and utility bills. I live in that room now, and the other room is still used by the man.
Is it allowed for me to live in this room without the employer’s knowledge? Is the salah that I offered in this house or with its water for wudu, valid?
Please Shaykh help me. Jazak Allah
