I work in the pharma industry as an HR Manager. My role is to measure the performance of employees and create reports based on it.
My organization is a pharma company that manufactures medicines. However, some of the medicines contain alcohol (like cough syrup), and some contain gelatin (like soft gel capsules) which may be from a haram source. My job is however not involved in the manufacture or selling of these medicines. I just handle employees’ performance.
My question is whether my job is halal or haram. Are my earnings halal?
