As-salamu `alaykum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuhu honourable Shaykh, hoping this question will reach you in a good Iman and health.
In Madhab Hanbali, is it permissible for a woman to keep her hair short? Obviously without the intention of looking like a man or a disbelieving woman.
The purposes would be the following:
1. Be more attractive to her husband if a woman has a body shape in which she looks better with short hair rather than long hair.
2. practicality and greater ease in keeping her hair well.
