What is the ruling on follower for first tashahudd (3 or 4 rakat prayer) when imam finishes before him? Should the follower complete the tashahudd or follow the imam without finishing? This could happen if the imam is fast or if the follower joins the prayer mid tashahudd.

Bismillah,

If they only have a small amount to complete, then they can complete it and then follow the imam. If however, it will take a long time after the imam standing to complete the tashahhud, such as if someone forgot to recite it altogether until the imam stood up, then follow the imam.
