How should the ma’moon give salaam in salah?

Wa’alaikumussalam warahmatullah
If you mean responding to someone else’s salaam while you are praying, you can simply raise your hand slightly, and then respond to them verbally after the salah.
If you mean the taslim at the end of salah, then taslim is done when the imam finishes both, the first and second taslim.
