Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. May Allah bless and reward immensely those who are running this page to spread message of Islam according to the school of thought for Imam Ahmed (May Allah have mercy on him).

I had a question about uttering the intention for acts of worship. Is it actually mustahab according to the Hanbali Madhab? I read in many places that intentions are meant to be uttered in the heart and not in the mouth. May Allah reward the one who answers this question with immense goodness.
