One of the most suitable book for beginners in our Madhhab:
This is the shortest Fiqh manual in the Hanbali Madhhab that we know of to date. This is (Furu’ al-Fiqh) by Ibn ‘Abdi-l Hadi [d. 909 AH], also known as Ibnu-l Mibrad (r).
The book is around 60 pages and laid out very well. The end of the book also has some questions to test your understanding and also some practical scenarios which the student answers.
The book is now available in the Riyadh book Fair.
The Tahqiq was initially done by Sh. ‘Abdu-s Salam al-Shuwa’iyr when the book first came out. Then Sh. ‘Amir Bahjat republished the book again by organising it with numbers and exercises. So, it’s a available in two prints. Sh. ‘Amir’s edition comes with a CD containing 4 audio commentaries of the book.
The book has been explained by Sh. Abdu-s Salam al-Shuwa’iyr in a few hours, and also Sh. ‘Amir. The links will be below.
This book is a great start for anyone who wants to have a basic overall understanding of Fiqh completely.
